Add Alchemy Fibre™ For Rice for a healthier meal
With a similar price point, preparing this at home allows you to make a portion suitable for a group of 3 to 4 pax and create a healthier version. One way to make your Pepper Lunch rice healthier is to add Alchemy Fibre™ For Rice when cooking the rice. Doing so will help to increase the fibre content of the meal (10x fibre of regular white rice) and help to lower the glycemic index of rice.
For those who do not have a cast iron pan or hot plate, you can use a deep frying pan to prepare this dish like we did. Regardless, this sizzling pan of Beef Pepper Lunch Rice will still turn out as mouthwatering and delicious.
Ingredients for Beef Pepper Lunch Rice
Serves: 3-4 pax

- 250g beef
- 1 big bowl of cooked white rice of choice (preferably jasmine rice or short-grain rice) cooked with Alchemy Fibre™ For Rice
- 3 tbsp of yakiniku sauce
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- Handful of corn kernels
- Handful of shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Step 1: Lightly grease the pan with oil and turn on high heat. Once pan is hot, add the white rice (that has been pre-cooked with Alchemy Fibre™ For Rice) onto the pan.

Step 2: Turn heat down to medium high and work fast from this step on. Add beef slices around the rice, then place the butter on top of the rice. For those adding greens to the dish, we recommend you to do so at this step.

Step 4: Pour the yakiniku sauce all over the beef and rice.
Step 5: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the rice (optional).

Step 6: Flip the beef slices and make sure it’s almost fully cooked before mixing everything together. Once well combined, turn off the heat and it’s ready to be served.
