Homemade Higher Fibre Pizza
Did you know that you can make your pizzas healthier with just one easy tweak? No compromise on texture, we promise. By adding Alchemy Fibre ™ For Flour in a 15% substitution to plain flour, you can enjoy higher fibre in every slice! Here’s our recipe for #homemade pizza goodness. Makes: 4 servings
- 204g plain flour
- 36g Alchemy Fibre™ For Flour
- 125g warm water
- 5g Instant yeast
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 12g Caster sugar
- 5g Salt
- 15g Olive oil
Add everything into mixing bowl and knead using a stand mixer with dough hook at low-medium speed until a dough is formed
Round the dough, place it in a well-oiled bowl and leave it to rest in a warm place for at least 45 min. If intending to bake the next day, let the dough rest in the fridge. Otherwise, skip to next step
Portion the dough into 2 and allow the dough to rest on the benchtop covered for around 30 minutes
Preheat baking stone or steel tray to 240°C
Flour the counter-top with plain flour and flatten the dough with your hands
Spread tomato paste leaving about 1 inch circumference
Add some shredded pizza cheese, toppings like ham, pineapples and capsicum then more cheese. Be creative with the toppings you love.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until brown.
