Ingredients:

Tom Yum Fried Rice Ingredients
1/4 cup seafood of choice
2 tbsp. tom yum sauce
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. fish sauce
1/2 tsp. light soy sauce
1 rice cooker cup rice, cooked with 1 heaped tbsp. (approx. 15g) Alchemy Fibre™ Powder Blend for Rice
1/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables
A dash of pepper

1 rice cooker cup rice, cooked with 1 heaped tbsp. (approx. 15g) Alchemy Fibre™ Powder Blend for Rice
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup seafood of choice
1/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables
Cooking oil
2 tbsp. tom yum sauce/paste
1 tsp. fish sauce
1/2 tsp. light soy sauce
A dash of pepper

To serve

Fried eggs
Chilli sauce
Lime wedges

Instructions

1.

In a medium pan, heat cooking oil over high heat and add in the egg to fry till just scrambled. Set aside. 

2.

Add more cooking oil to the heated pan and fry the seafood (we used deshelled prawns) until the seafood is cooked. Add in mixed vegetables and stir fry for about 3-4 minutes. Add in tom yum sauce and mix well

Add in rice cooked with Alchemy Fibre™ Powder Blend for Rice, toss well to separate the rice grains. Add in the scrambled egg and toss until fully incorporated. Add in soy sauce and pepper to taste. Serve warm!

It’s so easy to turn your OG Yang Zhou Fried Rice into something even more delicious with a seasoning like the Tom Yum paste. Of course, if you’re feeling more adventurous, you can add in your favourite ingredients such as mushrooms and even roast pork. The beauty of fried rice lies in the fact that you can add whatever you like!

Ingredients
